We had not seen Allan for a few days, but he is a male and has taken time away before. But then, coming home at night we found him, a victim of a hit and run.
He was never completely tamed; you might give him a pat on the head but you would never pick him up. But, I'll miss those eyes staring through the back door glass in the morning wondering where the food is. Allan was a gentle soul and we'll miss him.
Denny Crane will miss him and I will too.

Yes, I feel bad for Denny. He lost a good friend.
